Coughs Away – Massage Oil

This is blend of aromatic oils specifically created to help coughs.

I made it originally when my daughter was a baby and she contracted a nasty lingering cough which kept her awake.

I found that if I used it on her chest before she went to bed she would not wake with coughing fits in the night, it contains oils that are expectorant so it can help to clear the chest, and also oils that are anti-spasmodic so the chest relaxes which may help prevent coughing fits.

I make the same blend undiluted, i.e no base oil, this can be used as an inhalation oil in steam, but the ready-to-use massage oil is easier to use for children, it’s good to use on the throat during the winter when they’re exposed to coughs and colds in the school environment, some of the oils are anti-viral so the blend exerts a protective influence.

It may be useful for people suffering asthma and other restrictive respiratory conditions, as it can help to open up the airways and make breathing easier.

This blend is meant for use on chest, upper back and throat.
